Problem
The B2B platform was tightly coupled to complex code, with multiple critical integrations that depended on that same monolithic architecture. The challenge was to break away from an architecture dependent on legacy code, so that new features, integrations and business flows could be enabled without slowing the company’s day-to-day operations.
Solution
We approached the modernisation of this legacy B2B platform with the goal of designing a modern, scalable and decoupled architecture, able to integrate with the company’s ERP and make it easier for the business to evolve technologically. We analysed the current system in depth. We designed new backend services organised by domain.

The new design isolates the legacy, without needing to replace it all at once.
