Relocating mission-critical applications and services to a new data centre — more modern and better located strategically for the business — without affecting operational continuity requires coordinating multiple technical and operational layers at once: application migration, adaptation of monitoring systems, adjustment of automations, environment validation and planning of data transfer.
Solution
We led the complete migration of critical applications and services from a legacy data centre to a more modern, strategic infrastructure. We coordinated the technical migration in close collaboration with the client’s internal teams, adapting monitoring and alerting, refining automations with Ansible and validating each environment before it went into production. The data migration was also planned and executed in an optimised window to ensure clean start-ups with up-to-date information.
