Problem
Automating infrastructure and software delivery in a complex cloud environment, without losing control or clarity over which team owns each part of the system, is a common challenge when several teams share the same platform.
Solution
We designed and implemented a layered automation architecture to manage infrastructure and application deployment in the cloud efficiently. The focus was on clearly assigning ownership of each layer to the corresponding teams, aligning roles, skills and responsibilities. We created an end-to-end solution based on reusable modules that make it possible to build and deploy a complete stack in a secure, controlled and scalable way, with each module integrated into the CI/CD pipelines to guarantee continuous delivery without friction.
Results
This design made it possible to segment management across teams in a scalable, orderly way, promoting a genuine culture of ownership.
Layered automation boosted the agility, efficiency and quality of deployments.
It made collaboration between teams easier and reduced time-to-market: the client gained control, visibility and the ability to evolve technologically.
